Dr Chris Leiberman

Core Surgical Trainee, West of Scotland

Committee Role: President

Chris graduated from the University of Aberdeen and completed Foundation training in the West of Scotland. Following this, he was the Surgical Clinical Teaching Fellow at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow before completing a Clinical Development Fellow year in Urology at University Hospital Monklands. He is now working as a Core Surgical Trainee in the West of Scotland.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing football & rugby and watching his team, Arsenal, inevitably lose at somepoint.

Dr Sara Lim

FY2 in NHS Ayrshire & Arran

Sara graduated from the University of Glasgow and is currently an FY2 rotating through different departments in NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Her interests include medical AI and radiology. In her spare time, she enjoys pole fitness, aerial arts and tries her hand at making different dishes from all around the world.

Dr António Baptista

FY2 in NHS Tayside

António graduated from the University of Algarve, in Portugal. He’s currently a LTFT FY2 in NHS Tayside and is still trying to decide if he wants to be a urologist, an anaesthetist or a radiologist.

Outside of work, he’s a massive nerd and enjoys playing videogames, painting miniatures and playing Dungeons & Dragons!

Dr Hannah Sarafilovic

Core Surgical Trainee, West of Scotland

Hannah graduated from the University of Dundee. She did clinical development fellow year in Ayrshire and Arran in general surgery and trauma and orthopaedics, followed by a year as a clinical teaching fellow in breast surgery in Ayr.

She is currently a Core Surgical Trainee in the West of Scotland and in her free time enjoys walks with her dog.

Dr Stephen Davison

CDF in General Surgery

Stephen graduated from the University of Limerick Graduate Entry Medicine programme. He currently works as a CDF in General Surgery. He intends to enter Vascular Surgery training.

Outside of work he is most often found in a gym trying to lift increasingly heavy things or enjoying the Scottish outdoors.

Dr Erin Frizzell

Senior Teaching Fellow in NHS Ayrshire & Arran

Committee Role: Advertising & Social Media

Erin graduated from the University of Dundee. After previously working as a clinical fellow in orthopaedics, she is now the senior teaching fellow for surgical specialties in Ayrshire & Arran.

She enjoys travelling to new places and has a minor obsession with watching Scottish rugby

Dr Kathryn Brice

ICU Clinical Fellow in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde

Kathryn is a University of Dundee graduate and has previously worked as a locum in Emergency Medicine before becoming a clinical fellow in ICU at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

In her spare time she likes to go hill walking and wild swimming.
